GEARHEAD #19 OUT SOON… LAST CALL FOR ADS & NEW SUBSCRIBERS!

As Gearhead #19 inches ever closer to completion, it’s hard for us not to get really excited about it. Between the cover by Keith Weesner (that you can see right here and the feature on him as well as living legends Gene Winfield and Tom Daniel, plus the last interview ever done with late Famous Monsters publisher Forrest J. Ackerman, it really has the potential to be the best issue ever! About the only thing holding it back is the economy itself…in other words, we need more advertisers. If you are a regular advertiser and haven’t heard from us, you will soon, and you’re running any kind of business that relates to kustom kulture in any way, we’d love to have you. A downloadable PDF of our ad rate sheet is available right here. Check it out, compare our prices to those of our so-called “competition” and we’ll be expecting your call!
If you are a subscriber, you can rest easy that a copy will be in your hands soon, but if you’re not, it is easier than ever to become one. Just click here and then you’re just one more click away from getting the next 4 issues sent right to you. Please note that the cover price has gone up, but the cost of a subscription has not! They are still the same price they were more than a decade ago, which is sort of a big “thank you” to those have supported us (and our admittedly wacky publishing schedule) for so long. Hey, it’s the least we can do!

GEARHEAD MAG AND MERCH AT THE CALIFORNIA AUTO MUSEUM!
Do yourself a favor folks, the next time you’re in Sacramento, CA, be sure to stop in and see our friends at the California Auto Museum. Between the awesome collection of vehicles on display and the constantly changing special exhibits, you’re sure to see at least a few things that will blow a gasket in yer brain! Be sure and swing by the gift shop, because not only do they carry current and back issues of Gearhead Magazine, they have most of our T-shirts and a few other accessories available as well. Tell ‘em we sent ya!

Oh yeah, this is the FIRST newsletter we’ve sent out in 2010, so if you think you are getting this too often, then you are probably still getting the Gearhead Records newsletter, and they are a company we haven’t been associated with for many years. If you want to be removed from THEIR newsletter, send an email here, if you want to be removed from THIS one, just send us an email with the heading "PLEASE REMOVE ME" and you’re outta here. You probably should stop and ask yourself if this well written, humorous, and above all informative (and very occasional) newsletter is actually clogging up your inbox, but if you think it is, call us the breeze baby!

Till next time...

Mike LaVella – Boy Genius Editor/Publisher, not so great ad salesman

Jeremy Stoner – Art Director, Golden State Warriors season ticket holder

Andrew Fitzpatrick – Webmaster, proprietor of much, much cool stuff at Firetiki

…and from the rest of our award-winning (well, once) staff… see you soon!
